We appreciate everyone one of you who support us in helping to raise funds or volunteer to help with events for Save the Children. We are still one of the UK branches with the highest fundraising totals.

Next up – our very popular Pop-Up Shop is happening again on Saturday and Sunday 14th June – see times below.

We wanted to share this fantastic news with you. Our branch received an email from our Community Fundraising and Engagement Manager:
“Petersfield Branch raised £38,134 last year, a significant increase on the previous year total which was £27,974. On behalf of all of us in the Community Fundraising Team, I wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to you all for your loyalty, commitment and outstanding support. Your hard work and herculean efforts do not go unnoticed and are very deeply appreciated.”
We couldn’t have made this incredible total without all your support, time and hard work. What an
amazing community we have in the Petersfield area. The Sunday Times newspaper agrees with us,
listing Petersfield as of the best places to live 2026!
Save the Children Big Sale
Once again this was an enormous success. Our ever-popular flagship fundraiser would not be as brilliant as it is without the support of all the people who helped put it all together, gave up extra time, as well as our splendid sponsors – and of course all of you who came to support us both at the Fashion Show and the Sale. We raised over £12,000 profit.
Christmas Combined Schools Concert at Churcher’s College
Another wonderful evening of musical talent displayed by all those taking part, all in aid of Save the Children. A massive thank you to all the pupils, staff, family and friends who came along and helped raise over £1700!
Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day
Lots of you – and local schools and businesses – all sported their Christmas jumpers on 11 December and raised an amazing £2000 with money still coming in. Bravo!
We welcomed 80 keen and generous golfers to our Save the Children Golf Day at Old Thorns Hotel & Resort on Tuesday 9th September, and are delighted to announce the event raised in excess of £10k.
After a fantastic day on the course, the day finished with a fish and chip supper after an illuminating and impactful talk from Ian Matthews, Director of Retail & Communities for Save the Children UK.
Our heartfelt thanks go to all the golfers who played and to Old Thorns management and staff for hosting. We are also grateful to the golf clubs in Hampshire, West Sussex andSurrey who donated rounds of golf to our auction, our generous sponsors for donating items for the golfers’ goody bags, sponsoring a hole on the course and donating raffle prizes.
